Three years ago, we launched DenAI on a simple conviction: that the future of AI would be shaped as much in city halls as in boardrooms. This year, that conviction feels more urgent than ever. AI is moving faster than most institutions built to respond to it — reshaping jobs, straining city budgets, and testing power grids, all while outpacing the federal rules meant to govern it. DenAI 2026, “Governing in the Age of AI,” brings together the leaders building this technology and the leaders navigating its impact on the ground.
Who should attend?
DenAI 2026 is for the people putting AI to work in city government, and the people building the tools they use: mayors and city officials, civic technologists, workforce and economic development leaders, and the companies partnering with government on real deployments. If your job touches how a city actually runs — permitting, transit, housing, workforce, infrastructure — this is your room.
