Biography

Cris joined Google in July 2021 as the VP of GAPP Knowledge & Information Products. In this role, he leads a global team dedicated to developing policy strategies in support of Google’s Search, Ads, Geo and AI products. Since January 2025, Cris has also served as ad interim VP for GAPP US and Canada. Prior to Google, Cris was the Vice President and Head of Office for Global Government & Public Affairs at Micron Technology, overseeing a global team engaged in direct advocacy, policy development, community engagement, public sector campaigns and civic reputation. Cris also previously served as Vice President & Head of Office for Americas Government Affairs at Dell Technologies.

Cris received his degree in Government from Georgetown University and attended the University of Colorado School of Law. Cris enjoys mentoring and actively serves on several boards of directors, including the Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Museum, the Global Entrepreneurship Network and the Black Girl Ventures Foundation. He is also the past Board Chair for MATHCOUNTS, a nonprofit organization providing extracurricular and competitive math programs for middle schoolers across all 50 states and U.S. territories. Cris lives in DC with his wife and daughter.
