Biography
Eric Hysen is SVP and Chief AI & Transformation Officer for Legal & Corporate Affairs at Salesforce, where he leads efforts to simplify operations, accelerate innovation, and responsibly integrate artificial intelligence into the company’s global legal and corporate functions. He is also an Executive Fellow in Applied Technology Policy at UC Berkeley, focusing his research on practical frameworks for public-sector AI governance. Previously, Eric served as the Chief Information Officer and Chief AI Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he spearheaded digital modernization and launched the DHS AI Corps to bring top technical talent into government. Earlier in his career, he was a founding member of the U.S. Digital Service at the White House and worked as a software engineer and product manager at Google.
