Biography

Luke Norris serves as the Vice President of Platform Strategy & Digital Transformation for Granicus, a government technology firm who provides technology solutions to over 7,000 governments agencies worldwide. In his role, Luke leads the company’s AIML portfolio and the company’s go to market strategy. Prior to his firm, OpenCities being acquired Luke served as the Chief Growth Officer for OpenCities. He’s also helped start a government payments firm Payit and was an early staff member of the national nonprofit Code for America where he played a key role in helping over 110 governments with digital transformation projects ranging from economic development, public safety, entrepreneurship and other key policy areas for state, city and county governments. Luke’s a thought leader in government technology and has spoken frequently at US Conference of Mayors, ICMA, National Association of Counties and other events on topics ranging from digital transformation to smart cities and community engagement. Luke lives in Kansas City, MO where he’s an incredibly active member of the community and serves in a variety of nonprofit leadership roles where he’s been recognized with a Rising Star of Philanthropy Award and a Distinguished Citizen Award in Kansas City.
