Biography
Bijal Shah is the CEO and board director of Guild, a Public Benefit Corporation that unlocks opportunity for America’s workforce through education, skilling, and career mobility. Under her leadership, Guild has doubled its customer base while continuing to strengthen its market leadership and expand career pathways for more than 10 million workers. Guild works with employers such as Disney, Chipotle, Walgreens, JPMorgan Chase, and Ford.
Her team also designed a first-of-its-kind partnership with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the LA28 Games to connect Olympic and Paralympic athletes with education and career opportunities. Bijal has been recognized as a CNBC Changemaker and Chief New Era Leader and received an honorable mention for Inc. Magazine’s Modern CEO of the Year.
She lives in Colorado with her husband, two children, and their dog. Together, they support local nonprofits, including Girls Inc. of Metro Denver and Judi’s House, which provides free grief care to children and families.
